PRICE: £25
A highly collectable and historically significant early 20th-century molded clear glass baby bottle, featuring the distinctive double-ended "torpedo" or "banana" silhouette. This specific design represents a major evolutionary step in vintage medical and infant care history. The heavy-gauge, bulbous glass body rests flat on its central base, with both ends curving upward to terminate in two separate open bottle-style rimmed necks. The top surface of the vessel is deeply embossed with the clean typography: "HYGIENIC / Emarco / FEEDER". Reflecting the feeding measurement standards of the era, the glass features dual molded graduations: one profile scales the volume in "OUNCES" while the opposing profile is measured in "TABLE SPOONS". Historically, these double-necked feeders were introduced to facilitate thorough rinsing from end to end, though they remain famously associated with the turn-of-the-century transition toward modern sterilization standards. Condition: Offered in excellent antique condition. The thick glass body maintains superb clarity with no chips, cracks, or fractures on either of the two delicate rimmed goulots. The embossed lettering and volumetric scales remain sharp, clear, and perfectly tactile. Dimensions:
