Help Yourself, the Sky Will Help You

16/6/2021

You have probably already read or heard the story that I transcribe below:

A man prays:
- "Lord, make me rich."
Every day, the man prays and utters the same words. Every day, when he goes home at night, he finds that his situation remains unchanged.
One morning, he felt anger in him and expressed it to God:
- "Lord, it's enough! I pray every day and You... You do not even answer the prayer of one of your faithful!"
As man takes his breath again, he hears the voice of God answering him:
- "Have you even thought about buying a lottery ticket?"

I read everywhere - and for several years - that thought is creative. Some even advocate that it is enough to think, to imagine, to dream or to visualize something and this thing become reality. So many sit on their couch or to meditate... to a better world for example!

However, I would like to remind you that we live in a reality that is made up of matter and that, therefore, if you want something concrete to manifest itself, you will have to do the right things.
I give you a few examples: if you want to have a child, you’ll have to have sex; if you want to be thin and healthy, you’ll have to feed yourself differently; if you want to paint a painting, you’ll have to buy some canvas, brushes and paint; if you want the planet to be less polluted, you will have to consume otherwise; if you want the wealth to be better shared, you will have to stop feeding the current system of society; etc., etc.

So yes, thought is the origin of everything, but if that thought is not followed by concrete and right actions, my opinion is that your reality won't change. Do you know what I mean?

Becoming a Shaman

15/6/2021

The shaman is an element who make the link with the energy world. He provides care, becomes an oracle, assumes the role of exorcist or spiritual guide according to the needs of the person who calls upon him.
The shaman plunges into his depths, where his spirit functions beyond time and space. It is thus possible for him to answer specific questions or to discover the cause of a disease that unbalances the harmony of a being, but also between a being and his environment.

If you want to become a shaman, you should know that you will not incarnate the function after having participated in a few weekends of initiations and other workshops about shamanism such as those that are fashionable today in the West. By following this type of sessions and after several years of intense personal investment, you could become a good shamanic practitioner and among these practitioners, it is possible that some shamans reveal themselves. Only some.

If you want to become a shaman, it is necessary to know that it is the Spirits who will designate you. In Siberia, it is said that one does not become a shaman, but that one is born as such. It is then necessary to form and learn with humility under the guidance of the Spirits and the accompaniment of one or more incarnate guides. To become a channel between this world and the afterlife, to work as a team with the Spirits without being controlled by them takes time. The training is long, it is counted in years, and it is painful, shamanism is not a path of love and light, it is not without danger and often brings you to the gates of madness and death.

Tarot or Oracle?

14/6/2021

If you are new in Personal Growth or if you start to be interested in cards, you will find that some are called Tarot and other Oracles. How not to confuse them? To find your way out of the fog, I will briefly explain what it is.
First of all, let’s have a look at the definition of the oracle: message interpreted from an event or an object used to support this interpretation.
The runes are an oracle as well as the Yi-King, the coffee grounds, the crystal ball, the croaking of a raven, the leaf falling from the tree… and… the Tarot! And here, you will say that I am confusing you. Let's continue and stick to the cards.

If the Tarot is an Oracle, not all Oracles are Tarots. In addition to the name given to the cards by their designer, a Tarot game must systematically contain 22 major arcana and 56 minor arcana, or a total of 78 cards. The major arcana are numbered from 1 to 21 + an unnumbered card representing both 0 and 22. These arcana are illustrated with symbolic scenes and bear names.
The minor arcana are divided into 4 suits of 14 cards each: batons, swords, cups and coins. Each suit contains 10 cards numbered from 1 to 10 + 4 figures: jack, knight, queen and king.
Some Tarots are only published with the 22 major arcana, which is already enough to work with them if it is only symbolism that attracts you, but if you want to make the link between symbolism and your daily life, I highly recommend you turn to a complete Tarot.

Oracles cards are therefore those that do not include the structure of a Tarot according to the description I have just given you and if the purpose of an Oracle is also to deliver messages to us, they will be more accessible to people who do not want to dig into the field of symbolism.

To conclude, I would say that a Tarot and an Oracle are not only used for divination purposes, but are also good tools for advancing in self-knowledge.

The Shaman, Love and Light

11/6/2021

With all due respect to the whole "love and light" fans, the shaman is neither a Care Bear nor a sparkle unicorn. Above all, the shaman is a human being, composed of forces and faults, thus far removed from the eventual idea that we can make of perfection made man – or made woman – in terms of "holiness". The shaman therefore has, like everyone else, an ego and the latter can be described as strong and voluntary, but is also often wrongly described as proud by those who fear or jealousy the power of affirmation that such a character can show.
Taught and guided by his ancestors Spirits and other Spirits which he incorporates, but also imbued with the culture in which he is born, the shaman dares to be without fear from the gaze of his fellows and without the need of any consent or recognition from them. If the shaman has an ego, he is not attached to it and the individual can then appear in the eyes of his congeners as someone unstable who does not have a fixed personality. In fact, the shaman does not need to determine himself or to determine his actions, which will not prevent him from naming himself or his actions for the sole purpose of communicating with the human person.
In the same vein, the shaman does not separate love from fear or light from shadow. He is perfectly aware that duality is composed of complementary and not opposite elements and that each element cannot exist without its annexed polarity. What would the day be without the night? What would the sun be without the rain? What would the Masculine be without the Feminine?

Sabbats and Esbats

10/6/2021

Throughout the year, witches and sorcerers engage in celebrations, and some of them are more important than others. These celebrations, reputed to be conducive to the practice of rituals, bear the name of Sabbats, when the cult is dedicated to the Sun, and Esbats, when it is dedicated to the Moon.

Sabbats
There are eight of them. Four are called minors and mark the entry into the four seasons. They are related to astronomical events and the corresponding dates therefore vary slightly to one or two days, from one year to the next: Yule, winter solstice ; Ostara, spring equinox ; Litha, summer solstice and Mabon, autumn equinox.
The four called major Sabbats are not related to astronomical events and it is over time that tradition has linked them to calendar dates: Samhain, 1st November, date considered as the first day of the new year ; Imbolc, 1st February ; Beltane, 1st May and Lugnasad, 1st August.

Esbats
They are celebrated on the Full Moon nights and are therefore 12 or 13 a year. Here are some of their denominations:
  • November: snow, beaver, mourning, trees moon
  • December: oak, cold, long nights moon
  • January: wolf, winter moon
  • February: storm, death, invigorating moon
  • March: chaste, worm, seeds moon
  • April: egg, grass, winds moon
  • May: hare, flowers, plantations moon
  • June: pink, raspberry, honey, lovers moon
  • July: meadow, mead, blessings, luck, thunder, lightning moon
  • August: red, must, corn moon
  • September: harvest, barley, hunter moon
  • October: blood, fall of leaves moon
When there is a 13th moon, it means when a second Full Moon is in the same calendar month, it bears the name of Blue Moon, witches, ice or goals moon.

In future articles, I will return in more detail on each Sabbat and Esbat.

New Moon - 10th June 2021

A New Moon that should be light, but which won't really be!
A New Moon that will be a solar eclipse. Translation: strengthening the energetic and karmic burden of the phenomenon, it means that we are now experiencing a powerful opportunity to shatter what no longer corresponds to our deep aspirations, to clean up the mess that keeps us from moving ever closer to ourselves.
Mercury (retrograde), at home in Gemini, is squared in Neptune, at home in Pisces. Translation: if the sociable and thundering Gemini in search of truth are ready to invest themselves in a new way of living together, the discrete and diluted Pisces, even though guided by high ideals, don't have the manual to materialize this new way of living together. And when the Air blows at this point on the Water, it can make waves, especially if Jupiter – the great amplifier – throws himself into the scrum.
Impatience reigns, we want to transcend rules and limits, we want to make lasting acts for a brighter future, but we are not ready yet. It is the sky that tells us: Saturn – master of time and structure – confronts Uranus – lord of the unprecedented – in another square that blocks any advance as much as any recoil. Six months.... It’s going to take six months to start to make it clearer. Six months so that the achievements we want to put in place are finally realized. So it will be in 2022.
In the meantime, let’s jump back and explore this famous opportunity that offers us to go more towards ourselves. That was 19 years ago. Remember… the first half of 2002… What did we start in our lives at that time? In what field: affective, professional, financial, social? What had we initiated and which would not have been fully completed?
Six months... we now have six months to complete what we started 19 years ago. So— Are we ready for the big change, our own big change? For I would like to remind you that each one of us is an actor in the construction of human society and it can only be changed if we transform ourselves individually beforehand.

Live your Dream

8/6/2021

Many of us often aspire to experience something different/otherwise. Who has never dreamed of an idyllic vacation when he/she was stuck in the office? Who has never dreamed of staying in a vast residence rather than in his/her two rooms? Who has never thought to meet the one with whom he/she would share a love story more wonderful than those narrated in fairy tales?
But does dreaming to the point of fleeing the reality of everyday life really make us happier? Could dreaming too much have an impact on our mental and physical health?

I read everywhere that it is important to dream, to pursue one’s dream, or even to cling to it at any cost. I think this is true, but only in part, because a dream too far from reality, an unrealistic dream, an utopia, brings - in my opinion - no satisfaction in the long term.
What if instead of dreaming of the impossible, we begin to become aware of what we have? What if we go further and begin to fully appreciate what we have? By acknowledging all that we already have (health, housing, work, family, friends, etc.) and expressing our gratitude in this regard, we observe that we are in a position of openness that allows us to welcome even more.
What if you’re already living your dream?

A Thought, an Act

7/6/2021

From as far back as I can remember, I think I’ve always had my brain boiling, the thoughts colliding continuously, one question leading to another, one idea leading to a myriad of others. I was told that I had a creative mind, but what is creativity worth if it is not expressed? I had lots of great ideas all over the place, I was always procrastinating and nothing really satisfying was taking shape in my reality.
Several years ago, when I was at the bottom of my bed with my eyes wide open, hostage to yet another insomnia, a new enlightenment had crossed my little head and I had heard myself whisper: «a thought, an act». Had I finally found THE solution? Probably relieved, I remember that I had immediately fallen asleep.
The next morning, I woke up with a smile on my face and a light heart. Not too proud of me, I sat at the breakfast table and said to the present friend:
– From now, as soon as I have a thought, I will make an act to realize it!
He shrugged his shoulders and said:
– Poor thing, you won’t have enough of a day to realize all the thoughts that are rushing. Do you even know how many we produce per minute?
I was sweeping with my hand his coming explanation:
– I am convinced that by putting into action any thought that comes to me and by focusing all my attention on the act in question, rather than producing more thoughts, they will calm themselves.

We live an incarnation experience that requires us to fully inhabit this matter and to fully inhabit it, it seems essential to me to go beyond theories and other concepts and go further in order to concretize them. For having put into practice the inspiration that came to me that night and for having made it since a habit, I can assure you that when a thought is followed by an act, we then become complete and it is only by being whole that we can feel inner peace, that which manifests itself when we cease to be torn between the idea and its realization.

The Healing Drum

4/6/2021

The drum is not used in all shamanic traditions. In South America, for example, it is the icaros – songs – that punctuate the rituals and guide souls.
In Siberia, we systematically find the use of the drum, regardless of the tribe we visit. But traditionally, in societies that practice hierarchical shamanism, you don't become a shaman by choice, it is the Spirits who designate the man or woman who will fulfill this function within the community and it is this same community who will craft the drum of the shaman, which will be given to him during the ceremony of officialization of his function. The shaman therefore does not make his drum himself (or even his costume) and these sacred objects are taken back by the community while the shaman is banished from the clan (or tribe) if he does not fulfill his function as an intermediary between the manifested and not-manifested.
The drum allows to travel, to practice the "magic flight". It is the mount that the shaman rides to journey the invisible worlds to meet the Spirits. In traditional societies, the drum is always a healing drum, because if the sound has an undeniable effect on the environment, everything that composes the instrument has also its importance (the wood of the frame, the animal that gave its skin, the symbols that are drawn or painted, the bells, the pieces of cloth and especially, the pieces of metal).
When trance is induced during a ritual, all present and sufficiently sensitive people observe that the roles are balanced between the shaman and his/her drum: the ego of the shaman fades while the soul of the drum is expressed, the shaman becomes the instrument, the drum becomes the officiant, harmony and collaboration reigns between these two entities that become one. The drumstick guides the human arm towards the skin to emit such a sound rather than another, to touch such a symbol and not the one next to it. Nothing is the result of chance, but nothing is either premeditated.
Because he/she receives the teaching of his/her drum, only the shaman is able to decode the messages and a unique link connects them. It is for this reason that when the shaman dies, his/her drum is destroyed. Only the pieces of metal containing the Spirit of the instrument loaded itself, by practical means, by the Spirits of the Ancestors are preserved, and because they are so loaded, these pieces of metal will adorn the drum of the next shaman, which the Spirits will call when they recognize him/her.

Zodiac Signs' Karma

3/6/2021

I personally understand Karma as a possibility to evolve rather than as a divine punishment. There is only one Karma and it is neither good nor bad. As for the zodiac signs, I remind you – if you do not already know – that you cannot be determined solely by your solar sign. You are, I am, we are, complex beings who cannot be reduced to a single interpretation. Anyway, the subject of this post being the Zodiac Signs Karma, here is an overview of the evolution that you are offered to live in consciousness as you go through the interesting experience of incarnation. I invite you to read the Karma of your Ascendant and your lunar sign as well as the one of your solar sign.

Aries: action
You would gain by being the change you would like to see in the world. You need to take concrete action, achieve, create and above all… bear the consequences! Watch over the balance and control of your inner Fire.

Taurus: humility
You would gain by accepting the impermanence of things rather than attaching yourself to them.
Life is movement and clinging to your possessions and your routine could inflict you deep suffering. Be sure to accept things as they come.

Gemini: change
You would benefit from more flexible thinking about the world, work, others, yourself and everything… You have a curious nature and a tendency to be interested in everything.
However, be sure to stabilize yourself to avoid scattering.

Cancer: reliance
You would benefit from fully accepting the fact of being interconnected and interdependent without having to bear the responsibility of everything and everyone on your shoulders.
Your "antennae" make you feel the slightest vibrations and these amplify your emotions. Be careful, therefore, not to be swallowed up by these connections and find the wisdom to leave to Caesar what belongs to him.

Leo: growth
You would benefit from situating, structuring and loving yourself and then expanding.
You only have a real grip on yourself so stop wanting to find out about what is inside you. Be sure to redefine your personal boundaries and no longer seek to change others as you would like them to be.

Virgo: focusing
You would benefit from choosing precisely what you focus your attention on. If you zoom in on your fears, you will develop them infinitely.
If you zoom in on higher thoughts, you will increase your capacity to realize them. Be sure to develop your discernment and your channeling.

Libra: mirror
You would benefit from recognizing the chameleon that is inside you and that takes the color of everything around it. The good as well as the bad. Make sure you surround yourself with "beautiful" people, but also make sure you don’t keep their beauty to yourself, so throw a little of it outside of you and share it with the rest of the world.

Scorpio: acceptance
You would benefit from seeing how your taste for rejection and constant struggle is developed. By rejecting everything, rather than evolving, you stagnate and this generates in you volcanic emotional states. Be sure to live fully here and now in order to purge what really needs to be purged.

Sagittarius: gift and respect
You would gain by "passing on the torch", by passing on to others the fruit of your philosophical, even transcendental, discoveries. Nothing belongs to you and you have neither the right nor the duty to impose your vision on others. Be careful to share by understanding that there is neither a Master nor a pupil, nor a superior nor a inferior.

Capricorn: patience and persistence
You would gain to understand that nothing is achieved without effort. The fruit falls from the tree when it is ripe, neither sooner nor later. Be sure to deepen the concept of "time" and its relativity: everything comes to those who wait.

Aquarius: intention
You would benefit from understanding that having the intention to… is not enough to make your concepts a reality. For them to go beyond utopia, they must be confronted with reality as it is, with its constraints, its limits, but also its possibilities. Be sure to resolve this "in-between" between the idea and its realization.

Pisces: causality or attraction
You would benefit from understanding the adage We reap what we sow. Once you have understood (in the integrated sense) that everything is connected and that you are not isolated in your bubble, that each act you pose generates a consequence, you will then be led to change your perspective. Be careful to develop compassion and charity.
