PRICE: £6
A clean and minimalist mid-20th-century British green glass utility bottle, standing at a compact 10.5cm with a perfectly square 3.3cm x 3.3cm base profile. Representing the post-war industrial transition away from traditional cork closures, this modern vintage specimen features a sharp, threaded neck engineered specifically for a bakelite or plastic screw-cap top. The base is sharply embossed with the industrial maker's mark "RBI 2", identifying its production at the Monk Bretton factory in Barnsley by the renowned Yorkshire glassworks, Redfearn Brothers, prior to their landmark 1967 merger with National Glass Works. Condition: Offered without its original paper label or cap, the translucent emerald green glass is in flawless structural condition with no chips, cracks, or signs of atmospheric clouding. A wonderful, highly affordable staple piece offering strong geometric lines and a vibrant splash of colour for an authentic mid-century apothecary arrangement or a layered curiosity shelf display.
